my doctor's appointment

Well I had my first real doctor's visit today. Mommy and baby are doing good. I don't know if you can see anything in the picture below or not but there it is.

In the middle of the picture you can a black almost moon shaped thing with a white blob in the middle. Well that white blob is the baby. It is about a cm long today. I am 6 weeks and 6 days today (sept. 23). My due date is May 13. I just talked to the doctor breifly today. Today's visit was mostly to get a due date make sure baby's heart is still beating. I am no longer on bed rest YAY!! I do however need to 'take it easy' for two more weeks at least. He also mentioned he wants to send me to Dr. Jones. He is oh ummm I forget what my doctor called him. Basically he specializes in high risk pregnancy. They want to discuss my options of things to try to get me as close to my due date as possible. But anyway it sounds like it is going to a long pregnancy with many many trips to the doctor's.
The were very well behaved and very helpfully while mommy was 'not feeling well'. Sarah esunderstood what was happening. She asked a million question. She asked so many questions that she now knows how a baby is made. Well for the most part. I didn't go into detail on how the daddy part gets inside the mommy part. She doesn't need to know those details just yet. I just told her that it is something special God created for husband and wife to do together when they are alone. Then she proceded to ask then why do some people get pregnant without being married. Then I had to explain that some men and women do it with out being married but God doesn't want us to. So as you can see she is very inquisitive. She had many questions most I answered some I had to tell that I would explain better when she was older. I am not sure she understood most of what i was telling her anyway. But for our first 'how are babies made' talk I think the mommy did very well. She is growing up so very fast. She needs to stay eight and innocent forever.
Albert on the other hand still denys thoroughly that mommy has a baby in her tummy. He wants to hear none of that. He says "no you don't mommy" and "I don't to have a baby". I think he will understand maybe when I go and get my sonogram when you can actually tell it's a baby. I plan on taking the kids to that one. Sarah said she wanted to go. I asked Albert if he wanted to go when I get to see the baby in my tummy and said "you have no baby tummy".
