The baby belly!

The Show! and baby registery

Yesterday we went to see the Trans Siberian Ochestra. I don't know if that's spelled right but you get the point. The show was really good. We all enjoyed it very much. It's a loud show and beleive it or not little Albert fell asleep. Yep he slept through about an hour of it. It was about 2 and half hours all together. Sarah absolutely loved it. Albert was to cranky to enjoy the whole thing. He did very well for a four year old little boy. It was a show Albert has been wanting to see for some time now. Well he finally got to go. They come to Shreveport every Christmas but Albert wasn't here last year. We all had a good time. I am not so sure we will go again next year even though I think Albert would like to. We will have a baby and with the show being so loud I don't think it would be a great idea. I am honestly surprised that Sarah liked the show because it was loud and they had flames and fire works and lots of lights. I thought she would be a little scared but she enjoyed. Well Albert brought his ear plugs for her to where. She wore them and I guess that helped with her being scared because of the noise.
While it is on my mind I am going to tell you all. I have a baby registry at Walmart. I finally got it up there. All you need is to go to www.walmart.com/baby. The only information you should need is our names. It is under my first name Mary not Beth. You should be able to get the info in the store also. I am not expecting you to go out and buy all the stuff on the list. I put stuff on there that I am planning on buying also. I just put it all on there so you can see what we were getting if you wanted to get something to go with it.

Christmas '08

We had a pretty good Christmas day. The kids seemed to have gotten what they wanted. We played all day yesterday. We got a few board games that we played. We watched some movies we got. Albert got a leapster hand held game thing with a game, a pirate ship, some movies, a new candy land game (ours was falling apart), a hot wheels container for his cars, a dump truck, and a bunch of other stuff. Sarah got a new Nintendo DS, some movies, some new clothes, a lot of littlest pet shop stuff, a bratz lamp (which she needed a lamp that is), and a bunch of other stuff that I can't remember. We got the new monopoly game, battleship, sequence, sorry(that was Sarah's), a little monopoly and sorry, and um oh yeah the candy land game. So we got a good many new board games. Then we got tons of new movies. Albert is a huge movie person. I guess you could say he collects movies. I think we got 20 new movies or so. I am not about to name them all. Anyway we didn't spend a lot on Christmas really but we ended up with a good bit of stuff. We really just didn't have a lot of money to buy things with. We have a baby on the way to buy stuff for. Starting out with nothing for it is going to be expensive. We haven't really started to buy for him yet.
Anyway on to the pictures. This is the before picture of our Christmas tree.

This is the after picture. Yep I put beads on my tree. I like the beads for some reason.Like father like son. They are just laying there watching the train go around.
This year the kids got to open one present on Christmas eve that was from family. Earlier in the day I put the gifts from family that were sent to us under the tree. Poor little Albert was going crazy all day.

AND they got new jackets which they actually needed because they didn't have. Well Albert had one but anyone knows Albert knows one isn't enough. He gets things dirty so fast.

This is was right after Santa came. This picture is priceless. She does that face every year but Albert got it this year. She has her mouth open and everything. She's so cute.Albert's reaction was completely different. He was grinning from ear to ear. Then he realized he couldn't see his Thomas the train wrapping paper presents anymore. He then got a little upset because he thought there wasn't anything for him. He was OK once I explained to him that there were presents for him.
The first gift of Christmas day from Santa. Sarah's was a password journal thing. Albert's was a bag of little G.I. Joe men and accessories.

Ruby's gifts. The bed was from Santa and we got her the bone. She is a very chewy dog. So to keep her from chewing things she's not suppose to we have to keep lots of things she is allowed to chew on. So this should last a little while.

My cute little babies opening their presents. I know I know not babies anymore.

Sarah got barbie movies for Christmas. She is so pretty. I know I can't help I have cute kids.

Albert had to show me he got iron man movie for Christmas. He just wouldn't hold it so I could see his face. You can see his pajamas though. Those are his favorite.

AAWWWW the happy parents aren't we cute. Our little photographer took that picture. Albert (little one) is all the time taking pictures. So we had him take a picture of us. Not bad for a four year old.

Albert got new knives. I got a food processor. I put the picture on here but I guess I accidentally deleted that one some how. Oh well one picture with me in it is enough.

We got Sarah a build a bear outfit. Well got one for both kids. Sarah got this tinker bell one and Albert got batman.
Albert is dressing his monkey in his new batman costume.

At the end of day things started to settle down. The were playing their games and Albert was watching his movie. If you look behind Albert that's his monkey in his batman costume. He is concentrating so hard.

Happy little girl with her new Nintendo.
Albert eating his pumpkin cheese cake. Why he put whip cream on the top I'll never understand.

christmas lights

We went to go see the christmas lights in Marshall Texas yesterday. We went with the 'grandparents' the kids adopted since we've been here. Ron and Brenda take the kids every now and again to go do something. Albert and I went along this time though. It was fun. The kids got to see santa. The whole town is all lit up it was nice. They had an ice skating rink but was closed due to weather. It was 73 degrees outside yesterday.
The pictures I took are from my cell phone so they aren't the best of quality.
This picture is in front of Ron and Brenda's house. Albert just loves that nutcracker for some reason.
That's a singing choir group. My kids are at each end. You have to look close to see them bt they are there.
Just a pretty picture of Sarah.
Handsome little boy.

It's a boy!!

Well I had a doctor's appointment on Monday and we found out it's a boy. I know we told most every one already but it may be news to someone. No you can't see his 'parts' in that picture. This one is just a nice profile so you can see his little legs. If you look carefully his arms are up by his head. We decided on the name Andrew. The middle name is up in the air yet. It will either be Robert (mygrandfather's first name) or Keith (my dad's middle name). The doctor told me if things go well he is putting me on bed rest in 8 weeks. If things goes badly then it will be sooner than that. I still have to see the high risk doctor yet. I am a little concerned about what he might tell me. I don't know how long I can just lay around. I have two kids, a husband, a house, and animals to take care of so I am hoping it won't be for to long that I have to just lay about.
I have other pictures to post I am just not going to do it all in one day. I will post them sometime this week.

Christmas list

I have started a christmas wish list for the kids for christmas. I made it at toys r us this year. I believe the only info you need is my last name. If you go to www.toysrus.com. Then you will see at the top a place it says wish lists. Click on that then find where it says find a wish list. All you need to do is enter the lastname Hunsiker and it should take you there.
I am also working on a baby registry at walmart. I don't have a whole lot in there yet. I was adding stuff on there that we are going to get also. So when I am done there is going to be a lot on there. I am starting from scratch with this baby. Since we were done having babies I got rid of most of my baby stuff so we didn't have to keep moving it all around. Well turns out that was a bad idea because now all I have is a toddler bed, changing table and high chair. I am not even sure if I have all the pieces to the high chair still I have to look for that yet.

Having fun!

The fist couple pictures are of Albert dressing up for 'work' like his daddy. Albert was getting ready to go on TDY and someone just had to try all his Daddy's stuff. I took the chance and got some cute pictures.
Look it even has his name on it.
These next few pictures Albert was playing with the kids in the yard. They were trying to what he was doing but as it turns out Daddy is pretty good and they could not quite get it. Sarah is trying to do a head stand in this picture.

Albert is doing a somersault maybe I don't remember. Sarah has a piece of grass between her thumbs and is making the sqeak sounds when she blows. She can do that better than I can.

This is actually the first picture I took Albert just showed Sarah how to do the grass thing. Little Albert didn't have much interest in that so he kept busy by trying to squish his dad. I don't think he is big enough to squish him to much though.
I dont know what they are laughing at.
Albert took this. Sarah and I just left for girl scouts. Poor little man is so upset because he can't go to girl scouts and he is to young for boy scouts. He is watching out the window for me to come back. That table is right up against the window and it's the window that is in the carport.
And finally this is Ruby. She is our new dog. She is very good with the kids and she is much calmer than Thomas. She is very well behaved. She is about a year and a half.

Thomas

Well I have some sad news about our dog. Albert and I made the decision to take Thomas to the animal shelter. It was not an easy thing to decide but that's what we did. He just became to aggressive. He bit the Albert more than once. He just ended up being a dog we could not let be around anyone but us and then only with strict supervision because you never knew when he would lash out at some one. It is really sad though. Albert took him down yesterday. The man that took his leash from Albert got bit by Thomas four times before you got him in the cage. So they told Albert that he wasn't going to be adoptable. I figured that. I am not sure what they will do with him though i have I really good idea. That just makes it that much harder. He could be a really good dog sometimes he just had those moments. I know we made the right choice because the safety of the kids is the most important thing but it's still very very sad.

another dr's appointment

Ok that picture is upside down. I am not sure how that happened but it did. Everything at the doctor's went well. I still don't really know a whole lot about plan aheads yet. He told me that he wants to wait until he gets the rest of the medical records before we do anything else. I sent for them they just need to get to the office. He is going to send me to a high risk doctor after he gets them. At least that is what I understood him to say. I am not sure if he is going to call me when they get there or wait until my next appointment. I forgot to ask.

Anyway on to more exciting things. The kids got to see the sonogram. It was kind of cute. Sarah asked a million questions and Albert didn't say a whole lot. The only thing Albert said was 'that's the baby in your belly'. Albert doesn't say a whole lot about baby really. He has decided we need to name the baby Albert. He says it is a boy so he won't even talk about girl names. We truly have no ideas for names. The names I like Albert doesn't like and Albert wants to wait until we know if it's a boy or girl before we pick a name. So I guess we are going to wait until I get my next sonogram which should be in 8 weeks to start picking.

Sarah had a Halloween party last night. I told her to go get ready and Albert came out all dressed up in his iron man costume. I didn't have the heart to tell him he couldn't go too. So he went to the girl's Halloween party. He was the only boy there. I guess that's OK. He was also the youngest. He didn't seem to notice really though. They had fun. They came home with a whole bag of goodies. They got lots of candy, a few stuffed animals, glow in the dark vampire teeth, shoe lights, and all kinds of other stuff.

The above picture that's my girl scout co-leader. Then of course you can see they kids. Sarah is a doctor or vet without her bear. Albert is iron man with no mask because they were eating.

I couldn't get the table. There are more girls that I didn't get. The girl standing is whose party this was. This is all the pictures I took because I took with my cell phone. I forgot my camera yet again.

Mini Vacation

We had an unexpected vacation over the weekend. We got called by our time share company. We had to go down there for a meeting (they tried to get us to upgrade). So we ended up deciding to stay for the weekend instead of just for the day. The kids had lots of fun. They were really tired when we got home yesterday. They are on their intersession so they aren't missing school. The meeting was Sunday morning. We went and they fed us breakfast and while we were eating there was magic man. It was pretty funny. The man did a trick where he put a dice in a wooden box. The box had two sides the die was the size of one side. He put it in there and asked Sarah which side the die was on she told him and he tilted the box opened it and it of course wasn't there. Sarah thought she just had it figured out. After a few which side of the box is it on Sarah said it's on the opposite side I say because you tilt the box when i give you an answer. By this time the whole place is just busting up laughing. So anyway he said OK you want me to open both sides he did and no die. Sarah was completely shocked. It was so funny. That wasn't the only trick he got her on. There were a few it was really funny. I wish I had my camera. It would have made a really good video. Oh well can't get everything on video I guess.
After our meeting we went to the indoor water park. They kids completely played out their dad. I didn't want to over do it so Albert took the kids on the water slides a million times. We played on the water playground thing. We all got really wet. It was a lot of fun. It was nice to be able to take the kids out and have some fun. We didn't get to go fishing this time. We really didn't have the time. We had to come home yesterday. I had a doctor's appointment this morning so we couldn't stay any longer. We are thinking about taking them to a place closer here for the day and going fishing then. I don't know when we will have time though.
As for my doctor's appointment I will go in to details later. I want to get my new sonogram pictures on the computer yet. I have to finish getting ready for girl scouts tonight. Everything went well at the appointment though. I will post again maybe tomorrow.

this and that

Well I don't really have much to report really. We are all doing well here. The kids can't wait for their intersession to start. They have their first break starting the 20th. So they have one more week of school then a break. They can not wait and neither can I. Albert has been a little grouchy in the mornings. I think he needs a little time away from school to relax some and maybe catch up on some sleep.
I have been keeping pretty with girl scouts. I didn't realize how much truelly was involved when I agreed to be leader. I have a co-leader but still I have to do the largest portion of work. I am having fun with it though. We have a really nice group of girls. They are for the most part all little ladies. They get along well and listen to me and each other. It is a lot of work and a lot of planning and a lot of time but it is all worth it. Plus I now have something to with myself now both kids are in school.
My next doctor's visit on the 21st. I should know more then about what the doctor wants to do about trying to lengthen this pregnancy. He mentioned the progesterone treatment. I don't know what he will do though. He told me it all depends on what is in my medical records (which by the way is not easy to track down from all over the country). I will have the ones from my miscarriage and my pregnancy with Albert. I don't know how much will be in there of my delivery though. I did the required paper work and they should be sent to the doctor's office but it all takes time so I am not sure how much will get there before my appointment. I am hoping all goes well from here on out with this one. I know that a full term baby means Albert won't be here but I would rather have a full term than a preemie. He has missed the two previous births so it won't be to much new really. OK so it is a big disappointment but that's the military for you though.

my doctor's appointment

Well I had my first real doctor's visit today. Mommy and baby are doing good. I don't know if you can see anything in the picture below or not but there it is.

In the middle of the picture you can a black almost moon shaped thing with a white blob in the middle. Well that white blob is the baby. It is about a cm long today. I am 6 weeks and 6 days today (sept. 23). My due date is May 13. I just talked to the doctor breifly today. Today's visit was mostly to get a due date make sure baby's heart is still beating. I am no longer on bed rest YAY!! I do however need to 'take it easy' for two more weeks at least. He also mentioned he wants to send me to Dr. Jones. He is oh ummm I forget what my doctor called him. Basically he specializes in high risk pregnancy. They want to discuss my options of things to try to get me as close to my due date as possible. But anyway it sounds like it is going to a long pregnancy with many many trips to the doctor's.
The were very well behaved and very helpfully while mommy was 'not feeling well'. Sarah esunderstood what was happening. She asked a million question. She asked so many questions that she now knows how a baby is made. Well for the most part. I didn't go into detail on how the daddy part gets inside the mommy part. She doesn't need to know those details just yet. I just told her that it is something special God created for husband and wife to do together when they are alone. Then she proceded to ask then why do some people get pregnant without being married. Then I had to explain that some men and women do it with out being married but God doesn't want us to. So as you can see she is very inquisitive. She had many questions most I answered some I had to tell that I would explain better when she was older. I am not sure she understood most of what i was telling her anyway. But for our first 'how are babies made' talk I think the mommy did very well. She is growing up so very fast. She needs to stay eight and innocent forever.
Albert on the other hand still denys thoroughly that mommy has a baby in her tummy. He wants to hear none of that. He says "no you don't mommy" and "I don't to have a baby". I think he will understand maybe when I go and get my sonogram when you can actually tell it's a baby. I plan on taking the kids to that one. Sarah said she wanted to go. I asked Albert if he wanted to go when I get to see the baby in my tummy and said "you have no baby tummy".

One more time

Well I think everyone knows now that we are expecting again. It was kind of a surprise to us. I say kind of because we knew it was a chance but didn't think it would really happen. I had an IUD for a few years. I had that removed in June. I had planned on getting put on something else but just didn't right away. At first I wanted to try for another one but then after a few weeks we decided it probably wasn't a good idea. So we decided not to try again. I was going to make a doctor's appointment but I decided to take the home pregnancy test Albert got for me sometime in August. Well I called the medical clinic but not for the reason first intended. I truelly didn't think I would get pregnant so fast. I figured I had time. All I can say is God has plans for us that didn't really match ours.

Albert went to New Jersey this week. He is going 'camping'. He left on Wednesday. You know everything happens when Albert leaves. That day I started bleeding some this is natural early in pregnancy so I wasn't concerned. Well Friday (yesterday) I started bleeding a good bit and started getting cramps. Well I went to the ER. I called friends of ours to come get the kids. I am convinced that Friday night is not the time to go to the ER. Anyway I got a sonagram done and the doctor said the baby was fine. The heartbeat is strong and looks good. My due date is May 13. I am a little over 7 weeks along. The doctor also said I have to stay on bed rest at least until I see my regular doctor hopefully on Monday. Bed rest not words I was wanting to hear so early in pregnancy. The doctor also said he couldn't tell me for sure I wasn't going to lose the baby. So I guess for right now I am ok but only time will tell and I should know more when I see my OB. I need an appointment on Monday but I don't know if I can. I have to go to an off base doctor so I have to wait for a referal letter. I am supose to get it in the mail and can't see the doctor until I get one. So I guess if it doesn't come today I will go to the office Monday and see if I can get one printed.

It is frustrating everything happens while Albert is gone. It never fails as soon as Albert leaves something happens. He is only going to be gone a week and I end up in the ER. Oh well I guess for now things are ok. For now I stay in bed and well just sit here.

Finally Pictures!!!!

Well I finally got some pictures on the computer from the first day of school for Albert. I really haven't taken any other pictures lately. I guess I should do that more often but you know I don't always have my camera.

This first picture is Albert waiting for time to leave. I took him to school the first day. What is he watching? Well don't ask me because I have not a clue.

This is a very excited Albert. As you can see he totally isn't paying attention to Mom. He wants to go play. Albert all settled in and doesn't care that Mom is about to leave. I took this picture then said "O.K. Albert I am leaving now." He looked at me (barely he was into that puzzle) and said "ok bye". That is it no Mom don't go or I don't want to stay. Nope just a ok bye. Then on the first day he rode the bus home. This was the most exciting part of the day. Yes Sarah is wearing jeans. They are allowed to wear jeans and a spirit shirt on fridays. Albert doesn't have a red shirt like Sarah's and plus he would rather wear his uniform because they are shorts. Sarah likes to wear something differnt on Fridays. I guess wearing the same outfit everyday would get boring.
I just added this picture because she's cute and her lips are blue. That is the shirt she won
from when you all bought the magazines from her last year. This is Emily and Boose (short for Caboose). No we didn't get a rabbit Well we did but only for the weekend. It is Sarah's class pet. She got to bring him home for the weekend. So now of course the kids want a rabbit. NO WAY! we have to many animals now.

This video was taken at Albert's grandfather's house. It is a G.I. Joe war basically between Sarah and her Dad. Little Albert was there but he watched more than anything really. That's why he isn't seen in the video plus mom is a terrible video taker.

The Hurricane's a cumin'

Well this will be our first hurricane experience. We are really not expecting a lot here. We are supose to get a lot of rain and there is the possibility of torandos. The worst will be south and west of us. We could possibily get up to 15 inches of rain through Friday. We are ready though. I cleaned out the backyard of anything can could possibily blow around. I took up everything off the floor in the workshop that I don't want to get wet. I made sure the sump pump is working this time. Last time we had flooding our pump wasn't working so it didn't clean out the back yard of water. I am hoping this time it will work and the workshop won't get to wet inside. The city is as full as it can get with evacuees. So for the next few days I will have to keep the doors locked and the kids close. We were told the crime rate goes way up when things like this happen and our city fills. We should be ok here though. We are not really expecting much more than rain really. I just hope our electricity doesn't go out because that would be a bummer. Plus Sarah gets a little upset when the power goes. She gets really scared pretty easy. The whole talk of huricane has her already upset enough. I told her this is a test of our faith. We have to have faith that God will protect us and that whatever happens is what He wants to happen and he will take care of us. That seemed to help a little but she is still a little worried. I guess she will be alright once she realizes all that is going to happen is rain. A good thing about this incoming storm it will be cooler the next few days. So that will help with the electric bill. The highs are only in the 80's for the next few days. That is the coolest it has been all summer I think.
Living here for about a year and half now I am conviced of one thing. They never get nice weather here. It is either very hot, hot and humid, humid, or cold and miserable. Cold here being like in the 50's. I know you say well that's not really that cold. Well look at from our point of view our summers are over 95 about everyday and in the 100's and 110's on the hotter days. So that's 60 degrees cooler than our hottest day that's a big jump. Then here we don't get fall until like November. Last halloween I took the kids trick or treating and we didn't need a coat it was so warm out side. No I am conviced there are no nice weather days here. Louisiana is NOT the place for me.

Additions to my site

You may have noticed a few new addition to my website. I have added a link to Sarah's story page. I have also added a recipe section. So you know what that means I need recipes to go in that section so if you come across any fun ones send it to me and I will post it. I don't know how often I will change that section it depends on how quickly and how many recipes I can get my hands on. I have a few I want to post but not many as of yet. I am also working on a section for books I have read of want to read and books the kids are reading. I don't know really how to that section yet. I am working on it though. We read constantly so I figured that would be a good section to add. I also wanted to add a craft section. I have very few crafts to add and really no one with kids that read my blog so that one my never make it on here. If you have something you would like to see on my blog page (I mean besides my kids' pictures) let me know. I am looking for fun things to add to make my blog page more fun and try to get people coming back for more.

If you know anyone that you think might like visit here send them the link. I try to send it around every now and again but I am not real good keeping up with that. Now that the are in school I have all kinds of time to do things so maybe I will keep this blog page updated more often. Well hope you are all enjoying my page. Please either comment or email me your suggestions.

School

Well this week marked the first day of school for the kids. Sarah started 3rd grade on Monday. Albert started preschool on Friday. Sarah loves school like always. She switches classes this year. She has three teachers this year. She moves around but not like in high school. She has most of her stuff in her home room. She goes to a teacher for reading and another for writng and other stuff and the other is her homeroom and math and science. Then she has her enrichment art, music, gym and that stuff. So she is getting a taste of changing classes early. She enjoys it.
Albert's first day of school seems to have went well. I took him to school and walked him to his class room. He was so excited to see his room. I got him settled down putting a puzzle together. I took a picture (I am still working on find the disc to install the program to put those on this computer) then I gave him a kiss and he said I was leaving. He waved and said bye mom. That was it he didn't cry and care I was leaving. That helped mom feel ok to leave him there. Then he got to ride the bus home. He has been waiting for that for well since he first saw sarah get on the bus when we were in Alaska. He was a happy little boy.
Mommy did fine on the first days of school. I didn't even cry. I was I will admit very nervous. I am worried about him getting to where he belongs in the mornings and then after school. I guess my biggest fear is him gettin on the wrong bus or something. I am not to worried Sarah is a wonderful big sister and takes care of him. Now monday I am a little worried about him getting to where he belongs in the morning. Yesterday I took him to his class room but monday he will need to go to the cafeteria and sit at his table and wait for his teacher to come and get them. I guess I am worried he will go off wondering around the school and not go sit where he is supose to be. I know Sarah will look after him but I also know he won't listen to her if he has it set on his mind he is not going to go to the cafeteria. I know I know I am probably worring to much but that's ok. I will be fine after a few days and the routine sets in. It is just getting from here to there.
I will get some pictures on here once I find the disc. Well I will probably get Albert to do it. He is better at the stuff than I am. I got Sarah blog page up and running. There's not much on there yet but it is up and running. The link is on the side of blog page near the top or I can send it to you.

18 and a half years ago.

18 and and a half years ago some time in the February a ten year old little girl comes home from her best friends house. "Daddy, Daddy Stephanie's dog just had puppies can we keep one?" In response "No Beth you can't have a dog," my dad tells me. Of course I don't take no for answer because I HAVE to have that one cutest little puppy of all. He had little circles around his eyes and he was sooooo cute. The next day I go to Stephanie's house with a plan in my head. I ask her parents if we can take two (I think it was two it might have just been the one) puppies to my house to show daddy and surely he can't say no then. Well we take them and off we go to convince daddy that we definitely have to keep this dog. I get home and show daddy just what a wonderful and cute puppy he is.
Well my plan worked with my sister's help of course. We got to take keep the puppy. Well we had to wait for a few more weeks because he wasn't old enough to leave his mom yet. Anyway I got to bring him home with me. Then there was the problem of well he needs a name. I wanted to name him rags and for a few days that what we called him. Don't ask why I wanted that name but I did. Then one day we were watching TV and a show came on it was called Mac and Mutley. Then that's when we chose Mutley. So it was set we had a dog and he was called Mutley.

It turned out to be a LOT harder work to a dog than I ever thought it would. At 10 years old no one can tell you it will be hard. Nothing is hard at that age because if you can't do then your parents will. There were many of those first nights when Mutley was home that I sat up playing with him and petting him and letting outside to go pee. Then of course was the horror of potty training. I cleaned up so many piles of dog crap from the dog it isn't even funny. I think of all the dogs I had to pick the one with the thickest head. He was really really stubborn. He didn't give up easily. He liked things his way. Eventually he stopped going in house. When we went away sometimes we were gone all day he never went potty in the house after he was potty trained. He could hold it for an amazing amount of time until he got old and just couldn't hold it. He never bit anyone well except my brother that one time. He loved to get out of the house and roam the neighborhood and eat every one's trash. He has chewed up his share of things. My mom had gotten me a porcelain doll for Christmas one year. I guess Mutley decided he wanted to play with it because he broke it. He loved to go out in the yard and play fetch and when he was done fetching he would run away and I would chase him all over the place trying to catch him again. We normally had him tied up when he was outside so he didn't run away. He enjoyed going outside to sit on the front porch and watch Riddlesburg wake up in the morning. He especially loved to bark at cats and well anything that moved really. He didn't like cats.
Anyway fast forward 18 years and some months later. Mutley has taken his last breaths. He died at home where he belongs. He was part of our family and my dad's only roommate for the last ummm lets see I have been away from home wow about 8 years. It seems like he had been there forever. He will be missed a lot. He had a good life I think. He was deaf couldn't hear a thing but still good for the most part. I guess it was just his time. We were blessed with 18 and a half years with him. I will miss him though not nearly as much as daddy will though.
