Albert's bib

We went to Joe's crab shack and ate while Al and Michele were here visiting. Albert ordered a bucket of crab legs. Since he completely embarrassed me on my birthday that one year at Olive Garden (those pictures I will not post) I wanted to repay him. So this very nice waitress voluteered to tie Alberts bib on for him. It was pretty funny but Albert being who he is wasn't embarrassed at all. It was quite funny though.

Isn't he cute? Oh how I love that man! God sure knew what he was doing when he paired us up! Ok now I am done with the mushy stuff.

misc. videos

Ok I FINALLY am updating my blog page. Since Albert came home it has been crazy. Things are settling down now though. Just in time to get busy again with Christmas activities. It is nice to the man of house home again. The kids still cling to him a bit. Especially little Albert, he doesn't let his daddy get to far. Anyway more on the homecoming in that post.
This is just the leftover stuff from the camera I didn't have anywhere else to put.
This is Andrew after enjoying a chocolate chip cookie that his brother and dad baked. I think he might have gotten a little in his tummy. HAHA. I think he looks an aweful lot like his daddy.
Below we see Albert sleeping on the floor. Why do you ask is he sleeping on the floor? Well let me tell. He is sleeping on the floor becaue he fell there. Yep and he didn't even wake up. I was sitting in the living room and I heard a thump in the baby monitor (the boys share a room). I knew exactly what happened because Albert regularly falls out of bed because he tosses and turns so much. I ran on in there because I figured he would cry only to find him snoring away. Just to funny.

This is me taking a video of Albert bringing me my birthday cake. It's the only video or picture from my birthday. I was kind of afraid to blow out all those candles in fear it might set off the smoke alarm but it didn't. Just for the record I am NOT 30 nope I refuse to turn that number. I am 29 again this year.

The next few vidoes are of Andrew. LOOK WHAT HE CAN DO!!!!!!

please pray for me to have patience and to keep my sanity. hehehe

kids outside

This is some videos of Albert learning to ride with just two wheels on his bike. He learned super quick. I say in the one video how long it took.

My crazy children playing in the rain. Oh to be a kid again and have delight in such small things as a rainy day.

Halloween

My superhero spiderman!!!
Velma from Scooby Do dropped by for a visit.
She's just to cute!!
I was going to get the whole family scooby doo costumes but decided against it. Mainly because little Albert REALLY wanted to be spiderman.

My crazy kids. I told them to pretend they love each and this is what i got. They were fighting so were mad at each in the picture.

Look at the people not the unfinished room behind them. I really need to finish that room and get rid of the horrible wallpaper. Anyway look who came to visit. It was a surprise for the kids. They didn't know we were getting company. It was a great surprise for them. We enjoyed having them here. I love having family come visit!!!

Sarah got a cat painted on her face. This was at the chapel. They had a big thing there. They had trunk or treat (people decorated their car trunks and the kids went from car to car trunk or treating). Games, food, and friends!! It was a good time.

Daddy Comes Home!!

This first video is of the kids waiting and waiting for their daddy to get off the plane. If you look really close you can see them down by the tree there.
I was shaking so it's not a very good video.

This one is worse than the last because I was shaking really bad by this time. I stopped taking the video probably to soon but I wanted to hug him and I couldn't video and hug at the same time.

I did not think Andrew was going to remember his dad since Albert left when he was barely a month old. That look on his face right there is most concern he showed about me giving him to his dad. This is a big deal because Andrew is NOT social. At the point in time when this video was taken the only two people who could hold him with out him crying was Sarah and I. Andrew stared at his daddy a lot at first but showed no signs of being upset at all. I think it helped that they 'talked' on the phone while he was away.

The kids not letting their daddy out of their sight.
The cake the kids made for Albert. Sarah baked it all by herself. The only thing I did was put it in the oven and take it out because I didn't want her to burn herself. I drew the welcome home and the heart also becaue they asked me too.

my growing kids

My oh my how the kids are growing!!

Albert and his 'crazy hair'. He was a bit embarrassed during this picture because he thought I was taking a picture of all of him. He felt better after I showed him and he saw it was only from the shoulders up. Look at those dimples to cute!!!

The honor guard came to a girl scout meeting and showed the girls how to fold a flag and other flag ettiquette stuff. Sarah being her father's daughter already knew most of the stuff. (Albert you would have been proud. She does remember the stuff you tell her.) Anyway this is her having her turn to try folding the flag. She said it made her fingers hurt.

Andrew sitting all by himself for the first time!

I was eating a cookie and holding Andrew and something needed my attention. So I moved the cookie to the hand I was holding andrew with. While I was taking care of whatever it was I felt drool running down my hand. The little stinker was eating my cookie. So I put him in his walker and let him finish it. So the very first thing Andrew fed himself was a chocolate chip cookie. That's my baby!!!

He says "you have absolutely no proof I stole your cookie".

Ruby got a new toy!

Sarah learning CPR when the first aid guy came!

Look at that big mouth. Doing what he does best eating!

Most of my group of girls. We were obviously bowling. They had a really good time!

Albert stood at the window waiting for Mr. Dan to start mowing our yard. He loves that mower for some reason. Albert told me he wants a John Deer tractor for christmas and it has to be yellow and green. Then he said he wants a john deer motor cycle. What a boy! Dan mows my front yard since albert has been gone.

Isn't he getting so big. That is a 12 month outfit he is wearing.

This makes me wanna cry both of them doing homework. It seems like just last month they were both so little and now look doing homework. Where has the time gone?

Andrew walking in his walker. He can walk straight but for reason he kept walking to the couch. He was doing it on purpose. I don't know why.

Just some pictures!!!

This picture is of Andrew hanging on the couch standing all by himself. I have my hand by his butt but I am not actually touching him. He loves to do this especially when I am sitting on the couch.

LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!!
He's sitting up all by himself. He is propped up with his hands but he's sitting there with no help from anyone else!! YAY first time today!

Some women from the honor guard came to our last girl scouts meeting. They taught the girls about folding the flag and about flag etiquette. Sarah being her father's daughter already knew most of the flag etiquette. Being a base troop things like that are important I think. We had all women come because the girls relate to older girls better. Sarah really enjoyed it. The girls got to pick the women's brains. They asked a ton of questions. I think they all learned a bit or at least I hope. Below is Sarah taking her turn to fold the flag.

This was supose to actually be before the other one. she is folding the flag not unfolding.

This one was supose to be cute. Well you can see for yourself what it ended up being.

I just realized I didn't take any pictures of Albert. Oh well I guess I should take some of him so I have new ones of him to post. But anyway Albert will be home in about 4 weeks give or take. It's so exciting!!!

what's happening in Louisiana.

Well not really much is happening but a lot at the same time. We are busy but just with every day stuff. School is going well for both kids. Albert had a little bit of a rough start but after a chat with his teacher he's doing much better. I had to explain to her that his behavior problems came from lack of knowing what to do. His solution to hard and difficult situations is to act out. We are working with him to use his words rather than actions to get attention. Sarah loves school. She loves her teacher. She is Sarah just loving and living life. She's a wonderful person. Some times it scares that she is so caring and giving because the world is often not very kind to those kind of people. She is a person that would be easily used. I was talking to grandma last week and realized Sarah is only 1-3 years away from becoming a 'woman'. AHHHH I know it just can't be true. My baby girl is getting so big. Every time I see her in her new girl scout vest I want to cry. The green and tan vests are for the big girls is always how I looked at it. She is now wearing a green vest. WAAAHH my baby is a big girl. She definitely needs to stop growing already.

Anyway speaking of growing look at this little fellow. Andrew, his 'boo', and Willis the bear getting ready for nigh night. The hospital gave us Willis. The hospital name is Willis Knighton. So that's how he got his name.

The next two are pictures by Albert.
How in the world he got them so blurry I don't know. There are like ten pictures this blurry. The lens wasn't dirty so I don't know.

The kids' sleep over. They had fun I think. They are watching a movie. I don't remember what though.

Albert had been having night mares. He was partially waking up every 5 to 10 minutes crying. He wouldn't wake all the way up just enough to sit up and cry. It was like 11 and I knew he was missing his dad. The red 'squishy' pillow his dad gave to him a while ago. So thats the "daddy gave that to me so don't touch it sarah" pillow. It was left in the living room. I got it sprayed Albert's cologne stuff on it and gave it to him. I didn't hear a peep from him the rest of night. I gave it to him and he buried his face in the pillow for a minute and then relaxed to this position where he stayed. How sweet huh?

Look it's tummy time and Andrew is NOT crying. YAY!!!

All the not crying got tiring after a bit. He had to take a break to snuggle with Mr. Snuggles (sarah named him). Mr. Snuggles is a half bear half blanket we found at walmart. I was shopping and I forgot to bring his blanket along. So he was getting fussy. I was looking at stuff in the baby isle. I gave that to him to hold until I was done looking and well he wouldn't give it back. So we bought it.

Andrew rolling over.

Umm I don't remember what this one is. So just watch and see. Oh yeah now it's loaded I see a screen shot. It's Andrew laughing I think.

Girls waiting for their face to be painted or waited for more anyway.

Painting in progress.

A few leaders and one girl hanging out chatting.

Just a peek of the happenings.

Craft time is so much fun.

Registration in progress. That's Andrew eating there in the corner.

A dad got 'painted' by his daughter Amber (she's on the right) and a friend Sierra. What a trooper Mr. Bill is.
