correction

Ok correction on that last blog the scorpion pictures are the same scorpion I picked the wrong picture for the bigger scorpion. For some reason it won't let me edit the post.

Critters!

I keep forgetting to post the pictures of some of the critters we've seen since moving in here. So here they are.

The first one here is a black widow spider. She is a little bigger than a quarter. We have never seen on of these in the house just outside thank goodness.
A praying mantis! This one was kind of cool! It had been years since I had seen one of these. I beleive the last one I saw was on our door in Deleware. It lived in bushes out front for like 2 or 3 weeks. Then I beleive Albert said he ran him over. :(
Scorpion obviously. We found a few of these in the house. This in one of the smaller ones found. They aren't actually that big. We should taken a picture of it beside something for size comparison. All stertched this one is only like an inch and a half to two inches. We researched the type I forget the name now but they are venomous but very rarely deadly. What I read said the sting is usually like a bee sting.
A little bigger scorpion.
Scary looking spider. I haven't seen one of these inside either.
Frog! This was a nice surprise to find. It is stuck to the sliding glass door.
We have not found any more bugs in the house recently. Well a few common house spiders and a few of those pinchers bugs not nothing like when we first moved here.

Yummy!

The below picture was missing from the last post. Some how it got deleted. But this is Andrew and Carolyn watching Thomas the train! They are so cute.

I made acorn squash for supper last week and Andrew and Carolyn loved it. It was their first time eating squash that wasn't baby food. I was surprised Andrew ate it. Albert on the other hand doesn't like anything new so of course he didn't eat much of it.
This is Andrew after the squash. He wiped his hands in his hair. This isn't a real good picture but his hair is sticking straight up in the front where he wiped his hands.
Carolyn enjoyed the squash also. She didn't wipe her hands in hair this time. I have no idea how she ended up with it on her forehead.
My wonderful husband! I sure am a lucky girl!
