odds and ends

Well I don't have any pictures or anything exciting to report. Oh wait yes I do. Sarah got her report card. She got all A's again. She is such smart girl. Her lowest grade was a 96 in reading. They have a story each week then at the end of the week they have a test on that story. It is open book. I really think Sarah would do better not open book. She has a problem with confidence and second guessing her work. She is absolutely wonderful though. Albert well we are working on the potty training still. He has the pee part down really well. He does have accidents when we wait to long to go potty. The other part well that is a hit or miss kind of thing. He doesn't have patience for sitting on the potty and waiting for it to happen so he has accidents with that a good bit. We just need to work on the patience when sitting. I have started to play games with him some but he tires of those quickly. We are getting there. I am trying very hard to be patient with him. It gets hard sometimes because he is 3 and I know he should be a little farther along. I know every kid has their own time table for things to happen I guess. So you see we are having trouble with patience. Both of us. HEHE
The kids and I are doing well without Daddy. We miss him very much but we are OK. We have good neighbors and wonderful people from church that help us when the time arises.
OK I know some of you know that I am going to PA for Christmas. I am going to my sister's house to stay for the two weeks we will be there. I am not however traveling around else where. I know I have many parts to my family but I personally need this time at 'home'. It has been quite a year. I want to send time with my grandparents the most. They have had some rough times with their health over the last year or so. I know they won't be there forever so I want to take advantage of the time I do have with them. I never did that with my mom's mom and I do regret not seeing more of her when she was still here. I don't want to make that same mistake twice. So anyway that's why I have chosen to just stay at my sister's the whole Christmas break. Well that and there are some friends I haven't seen for a while I would like spend some time with. Then over the summer we will be in the area for Chris and Jess's wedding (that's Albert's brother). We will be traveling about for a few weeks. Three weeks I do believe Albert has planned.
