One of the many experiments we did this year was the walking water experiment. The kids had fun with this one. They were completely amazed that the water actually 'walked' to the other glass.
We just filled a glass with water and put some food color in it to because colored water is more fun. :) This first picture is about 5 mintues after we set it up.
They are so intent on watching. It was kind of exciting at first to actually see the water 'walking'.
This one is about an hour after we started.
We moved the upper glass higher to try to speed the process along a bit. We are an impatient group. LOL
The next day. The upper glass is pretty much dry. Amazingly enough just about all the water made it to the other glass.

The superman sticker on his shirt was from his father's day card. It was decided that he is 'Super Daddy'!
