Boys will be boys

I am not sure which Albert was having more fun with this project. He is moving bricks from outside to inside. Through out the yard buried under foliage I found lots of bricks. So as I have been cleaning up the yard I have found quite a few. I had been stacking them next to the work shop. I figured that wasn't the best thing when I noticed that geckos like to hang out there.
This is a dirty little boy. My most recent project I have started is getting the rocks out of the yard. Well Albert just loves to dig in the dirt. You can only see the front half. He is covered on the backside too. He also has a ton in his hair. I have no idea how he ended up with it all over his face. Our yard at one time I think was suppose to be all rocks and them stepping stones for the path to the work shop. Well it wasn't kept looking nice and not done properly or something because it looks terrible. So I am trying to clean it up enough that we can use the lawn mower back there. It is proving not to be very easy. Albert keeps telling me that all this work I am doing will pay off in the end. I will have just have to trust him I guess.
This is a gecko. We have tons of them all around the house. In the evening we you go outside you have to be careful because they are all over the outside of the house and it isn't just my house either. The neighbor said they are on her house too. Well ours aren't just on the outside. Some how or another they are finding their way IN THE HOUSE. Last night Thomas (our dog) was a baby one around the dining room for a while before Albert realized what he was doing. Then about a week ago. I had placed towels on the floor in front of washer at night after our baths so I could put them in the washer in the morning. Well when I picked up the last towel a little unwanted house guest fell out and ran under the washer. It is good he ran away because I couldn't have caught him anyway. I would just like to know how they are getting in.
This is Albert being a good daddy and trying to catch a gecko for little Albert. I don't know why they enjoy catching them. I guess it is a boy thing.

THIS IS NOT BERTS FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH GECKOS. I DON'T THINK HE WILL REMEMBER (OTHER THAN PHOTOS). THEY HAVE THEM IN THE PHILIPPINES AND BEING HE LIVED THERE IT WAS A NATURAL "TOY". I HAD THEM WHEN I LIVED THERE TOO, I DIDN'T TEND TO PLAY WITH THEM AS MUCH AS HE DID BUT THEY WERE INTERESTING AND THEY DON'T KNOW THEY ARE NOT WELCOME INSIDE. JUST BE GLAD YOU DON'T HAVE (ATLEAST I HOPE YOU DON'T HAVE) THE OTHER PLAY MATE HE HAD AS A BABY... COCKROACHES, BIG COCKROACHES, LIKE 2-3 INCH COCKROACHES. OK I WON'T SAY COCKROACHES ANY MORE. ALSO, I WANTED TO COMMENT AND DIDN'T HAVE TIME THE OTHER NIGHT WHEN I SAW THE PICTURES... AS MUCH AS SARAH LOOKED LIKE BERT AS A BABY THERE IS NO DENYING SHE IS YOUR DAUGHTER. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE HAIR COLOR SHE IS A SPLITTING IMAGE OF YOU IN YOUR THIRD GRADE PICTURE. AND AS FOR LIL ALBERT, I THOUGHT HE LOOKED LIKE HIS UNCLE MATHEW AS A BABY, BUT NOW... HE HAS A LOOK OF HIS OWN. I LOVE CHECKING IN AND SEEING THE PHOTOS TO WATCH HIM CHANGE. AND SARAH SHE IS TURNING OUT TO BE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADY. ONLY, WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HER TEETH. THOSE TOP FRONT SEEM TO TAKE FOREVER TO COME IN. JILL AND I WERE LOOKING AT MY SCHOOL PICTURES THE OTHER DAY AND MY 1ST GR PICTURE THOSE TEETH WERE MISSING, HERS HAVE FINALLY COME IN SO BY THE TIME THEY GET THERE PICTURES SHE WILL HAVE A FULL SMILE. IT SEEMS STRANGE SARAH BEING A FULL YEAR OLDER AND NOT HAVING THE TEETH YET, BUT THAT IS PROOF THAT KIDS DON'T GO BY THE BOOK. IS SARAH DOING SCOUTS THIS YEAR? JILL DID DAISY'S LAST YEAR AND WILL START BROWNIES IN 2 WEEKS. I AM A CO-LEADER THIS YEAR. I CAN'T WAIT, AFTER SO MANY YEARS WITH BOY SCOUTS I AM ACTUALLY NERVOUS ABOUT WORKING WITH GIRLS. I DID SCOUTS WITH MY STEP SON AND SON. GIVE MY LOVE TO ALL. AND A HUG AND A KISS TO EACH. LOVE AUNT DONNA
