We couldn't make it home this Christmas which we were all very disappointed by. So I thought well we might as well go and do something that's in Texas that doesn't cost to much. Then the neighbor said that they went to Seaworld and got free tickets because of being military. So that's what we did. There is a program of sorts that gives military members free tickets once a year to certain places. So we didn't have to pay for that. We also stayed at our time share so we didn't have to pay for a hotel either. I think we all had a very good weekend!
And now on to the pictures. This first video is out of place but that's ok. All through the park they had these really cool icicle lights. It really looked like dripping water. So I took a video to share with you all. I am glad we went during Christmas season. The lights were absolutely beautiful!
This is the entrance to the park. It was much more impressive in the dark.
Waiting for the park to open. It was a little chilly. But all in all the weather turned out to be really nice.
You can't see it really in this picture but I was taking a picture of the 'snow' (really just tiny bubbles).
The first thing we did was do an up close tour. We were able to go back stage before and after the show.
This is a white sided dolphin I think.
That is Martha the beluga whale.
This is Martha again and E-mac.
The beluga whale posing for a picture.
Me oooo-ing and aahhhh-ing over the animals. I think I had as much fun as the kids. LOL
The next few are pictures from the beluga whale and dolphin show.
The whale giving the man a kiss.
Synchronized swimming.
If you look close there's a man about to dive way up on the ledge about middle of the picture.
The dolphin played with a ball.
Those dolphins could jump way up out of the water it was really kind of neat.
They also had a ton of beautiful birds in the show.
Daddy waiting with 3 of the kids to ride the Seaworld Express.
Showing me their tickets to ride.
Try #2 at getting them all to look at me. Oh well I almost got it. Haha
Bye bye!
Video of the seaworld Express.
I do believe this is another video of the train.
Look they are looking at me! I did however miss the waving.
A family picture in front of the cowboy boot tree.
We stopped and fed the duckies.
They also had flamingos with the ducks.
The kids feeding the ducks.
This is in the candy cane forest.
Another family picture!
The next couple of pictures are of the small roller coaster. You can't actually see him but Andrew, Albert and Daddy are on there.
You can sort of make out Albert's brown shirt on this one. He is the 3rd from the back.
Mommy and Katey on the carousel.
Another of Mommy and Katey on the horsey. She was tickled that she got the purple one. Albert is looking away but he's beside Katey.
Albert and Sarah! Andrew was suppose to ride the blue one and Sarah was going to stand beside him but he wouldn't get on for some reason and I don't why. I handed over the fence to his dad and he was perfectly ok to just watch. So Sarah got to ride.
Katey and I cheesing!
Round and round we go.
The mariachi band. They were really good! This was just as you would come in the park.
We stopped to enjoy the music and sit a bit about 5 o'clock. The park opened at 12. So about 5 hours of fun and look Albert is actually voluntarily sitting still!
Sarah sitting there being as beautiful as ever.
Santa!
Santa was on his way to 'dinner with Santa' when we saw him.
The next couple are of the indoor aquarium.
They had lights all over the place and they were so pretty I just had to take some pictures.
This is blurry but I wanted to show you how pretty the lights were and how they reflected in the water.
Here is the video that is also the first video I put on here but I don't think this one will actually play.
The last few pictures are of the Shamu show. I am so glad we waited for the night show. It was a spectacular show. The lights made it seem so much more magical.
As we were leaving I just had to sneak one more picture in.
Sarah in the candy cane forest.
Ok so I found a few more pictures to add. These are the pictures that came with our upclose tour. We all got a kiss from the whale. His name is E-mac.
This picture of Albert is priceless.
They were to little get a kiss but that's ok because it would have scared them anyway.
This is Albert, Sarah and I on the roller coaster. Sarah was scared stiff. I was obviously having fun. LOL I am not sure what's with Albert's expression because he said he loved it. He even went again.
