Christmas 2010

This year the kids made some gifts they gave away rather than buying them. They made their dad a t-shirt which I did not get a picture of.
They are painting the body of the snow man white. The hats are done already.
Painting on the snow.

Andrew helping his big brother.

Sarah is cutting holly leaves.

Albert glued his snowman's face on. Sarah is gluing her scarf.

Albert's all done!

Sarah's all done.

Andrew at church on Christmas Eve.

Katey's first Christmas eve!!
She's so cute!

Opening her first present on Christmas Eve!

Sarah opening hers. Not sure why this one came out so blurry.
Albert opening his gift.

Andrew opening his gift.

Katey's Christmas eve jammies.

Albert's jammies.

And Sarah's. Can you tell the older kids' were disappointed that this was the gift they had to open. They both had other things they wanted to open.
Andrew I think was trying to figure out what it was that he has.

Merry Christmas!!
Katey and her cookie monster. It has a frog on the front that blinks and it plays music. She loves this one. She got a few differnt frog things for Christmas this year. Her eye brows look really red in this picture.

Sarah's face is priceless here.

Albert got a bunch of the real construction stuff.

Andrew opening his first gift.

And it's a potty! He just now needs to learn to use it.

The necklace that Santa had 'fixed' for me. The top and bottom gems were crystals. The middle two were Sarah and Andrew's birthstone. Now I have all four kids birthstones.
My girls!!

Andrew was completely fascinated by Daddy's new grill!
Albert liked this shirt so much! He chose to wear this one first over the one the kids made him. That shirt was the kids hand and foot prints.
Andrew at one point in the morning got so over whelmed he just broke down and cried. He didn't know what he could touch and couldn't touch and everyone just kept telling him "No Andrew". Poor little guy didn't know what to do.

I took so many shots of the kids and I still didn't get a very good one.

The kids got window markers. Andrew likes them the best out of all the kids.

Albert and Daddy building an airplane with his new set of construction things.

Sarah playing her new nintendo game.

Making sugar cookies.

Sarah's heart.

Albert's candle.
Daddy's one and only cookie he made.

The boys outside breaking in the new grill.
What is it about a grill that attracts the male species?
This Christmas was a good one. We had good food and a good time with the kids. I know the kids didn't get everything they wanted but I think they enjoyed the day anyway. Besides I am trying to teach them that the important part of Christmas isn't getting presents.
